Grace Ministries-India[1] is dedicated to ministering to the whole person. We will minister to their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs by establishing Compassionate Care Centers in Messianic Congregations reaching the unreached for His glory and praise through prayer, evangelism, and discipleship.

 

Our 7-Fold Ministry Outreach:

 

Elder Care- Establishing Compassionate Feeding Ministries that provide 1 hot meal per day for seniors allows us to demonstrate the love of Christ.

 

A Cup of Water- One community outreach is to provide clean drinking water allowing us to minister Living Water.

 

Clothing-Blankets-Bibles- By meeting the basic physical needs we are able to minister to their deeper spiritual needs.

 

Education- Education is an ingredient of total community transformation. One educational focus is proper waste and sanitation management promoting a clean, healthy environment.

 

Lifeline Counseling- A non-residential community-based effort to address the problems if life addictions, using the Living Free model.

 

One Child at a Time- Ministering to the less fortunate and underprivileged children by providing an environment that will provide for them the opportunity for personal growth.

 

Training- Our seventh goal is the training of indigenous ministers multiplying the effects of Grace Ministries. To equip these disciples to reach the unreached and unengaged persons in India with the life changing Gospel and Love of Christ.

 

In light of the national disasters may we take a moment and perhaps a day, orperadventure two and cry out to Our heavenly Father for our nation.

Abba,

As we are witness to such devastation our hearts go out to those who have lost their loved ones. Homes can be rebuilt, furniture, cars and things are all replaceable… people cannot. At times like these many will surely curse You and blame You for the effects of sin upon our nation. Many already have.

We are a people who easily forget You and all of Your benefits. We cry out to You in our moments of despair only to turn away from You over and again. We have sinned. And rather than repent of our sin we seek to justify ourselves among ourselves. Instead of turning from our wickedness with genuine repentance we choose to remain in our sin.

Abba, we know that You are shaking this nation in order to wake up Your sleeping bride from her slumber.

Disaster, tragedy, death are all reminders of the frailty of life. We are like the grass that is here today and tomorrow thrown into the furnace and forgotten. We have no one to blame for our misdeeds, we have transgressed against You. You are Holy, and Just, and Pure. You have never changed. You could not look upon sin and had to turn Your back upon Your Only Begotten Son, Our Messiah Yeshua as our sins were placed upon Him. And You cannot condone sin in our generation anymore than You could then.

Abba, even as Moses and Paul cried out to You so tonight we cry out to you to remember mercy in judgment. Remember Your covenant and our weakness. We humble ourselves before you. You are Righteous altogether in judging our nation. And we have brought this wrath upon our own heads.

Against You, You alone have we transgressed. We have violated Your Torah and called it a burden. We have used Your grace as an opportunity to justify “respectable” sins. We have ears the enjoy being tickled rather than enduring string teachings about sin and holiness we have embraced “feel-good” teachings that puff us up with the leaven of pride.

Father, I surrender to You, to Your will and to Your ways. They are altogether  perfect. Forgive me, forgive us. And restore unto us the joy of our salvation.

As we are heading for Guntur, India, we have also contacted another orphanage the Heal Village. This is their reply and we thank God for opening this door. At Heal Village, everything is Hindu. Please, Please pray for open hearts and the right message for the staff and children.

Also we are at 40% of our support goal. Our greatest need is for airfare. Perhaps you or someone you know has enough "perk miles" that can sow miles as seed!!

 Oh Praise the LORD!!

I have below a recent email from India. As you "hear" the joy that is contained in their voice(s) we pray that you will not bypass the needs. The Currency Exchange is approx 47:1 (That's 47 Ruppies for every dollar) So the monthly rent is close to $425 in India. They are looking at some land and several vans for the orphanized home.

Due to shipping rates and luggage restrictions is is better if we purchase clothing for the children in India. We also want to look for land that can be planted.

The needs physical, mental, emotional and spiritual need to be met. Please give with open hearts and let's adopt this family together. All of our ministry support is being designated for this trip. Our living expenses are minimal at present.

        1)We have been conducting our orphans home in a rental house(monthly paying house).Rent for this house
           is rupees.20,000 per month
        2)We need a vehicle for our ministry.
        3)Our orphans childrens need proper dress and proper nutritional diet.There are 35 childrens,out of them 22 boys
           and the rest of the 13 are girls.there ages are in between 7years to 15years.
     Dear Larry Walters,you have also asked our personal needs and they are as follows
        1)We need a own land for conducting the orphans home and also for church.
        2)We also need a vehicle for church and personal purposes

On the home front...

We have recently traveled through the road of automotive repairs. On our return trip from Ohio the AC went out...and we were able to purchase some good used tires(2) for the back of the truck. AS the tirese were being replaced, the breaks needed replaced immediately and both tire sensors were replaced. Necessary repairs and maintainence are costly but, Praise God it is all paid in full!!

As we relocate our ministry in Ohio, we will update you concerning our mailing address. For now we will continue banking in KY.

Thank you for praying for our ministry. Earlier this year "open doors" was declared and we have been invited to Guntur by Elim Full Gospel Ministries.

India has over 1 BILLION souls of which only 2% are called "Christian." That's approx 20 Million...however that leaves 980 MILLION + headed for hell.

This trip is an all out assult on the kingdom of darkness and we will need your prayers like never before. Thank you fro your continued prayers and financial support.

Yes all of heaven is rejoicing tonight!!!

Gary Douglas has accepted Yeshua, Jesus, as his personal LORD and Saviour tonight after Lifeline...

Gary has been attending Lifeline for more than 18 months. When Ana and I started with Lifeline Sep of '08, Gary would sit in the back, say little to nothing and his belief was agnostic at best and he was an atheist at heart...

Praise God for His glororious plan! And at a time when we needed to "see" fruit, He was so faithful!!

Please keep Gary in your prayers for his spiritual growth and discipleship...

Gary knows we are praying about starting a congregation and he will attend...

Glory to God in the Highest!!!

Another note: our burden for the detention center has increased. We will beging to minister 2 nights for 60-90 minutes.

Thank you for praying for us as we are in a season of transition. Open doors ahead of us require a season of renewal and sanctification...

As we chisel away at the mortar of tradition pray that God will open hearts and eyes to receive the message He has sent us to bring.

Open Doors = Change

1 Corinthians 16:9, " For a great door and effectual is opened unto me (us), and there are many adversaries."

We are in a season of transition at this time. We are seking God's will, way, guidance and direction. The open door(s) are present; and we must walk through them...pray that our eyes would be opened, our hearts receptive and our ears attentive to His voice.

As this door involves change...it also involves moving. Financial partners are needed for the expenses of the move and the establishment of a house of worship in Hyden, KY. The majority of our ministries take place in Hyden and we will now be involved in planting a local congregation.

As we move forward...your prayers are vital for what God is asking us to do.

We are asking our ministry partners to join us for a season of prayer and fasting starting at sundown on Thursday (16th) until sundown Sunday (18th).
